About the Writer
Jeff Bourque is the Director of Worship and Communications at Grace Community Church in Brentwood, TN (just south of Nashville). As a songwriter, he has held a publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group in Nashville and seen his songs cut by Mercy Me, Centrifuge camps, James Tealy and Julian Drive.
As a worship leader, his primary calling has been to lead faithfully in the local context. It is out of this experience that he has developed a passion for helping worship leaders in the universal Church to lead effectively. With the help of his friends Joel Anderson (graphic designer) and Adam Darnell (site designer), the ideas for Congregational Songs have turned into a reality – a resource for worship leaders to find songs that lead their people to Christ, and a place where ideas about how to best lead God’s people in worship are shared.
Jeff married Kelly in 2004, and has two daughters, Lucy and Ella.
